Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of the Crosspace app, provided by Wael Makhoul. Using the app means you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use Crosspace on devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Apple's role
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Crosspace or its content. Your use of the app is also covered by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and for any support, maintenance, or claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
What Crosspace does
Crosspace is a client for cloud storage accounts you already own. It does not provide storage, and it does not resell storage. Your files remain subject to the terms of whichever provider actually holds them. If a provider suspends your account, changes its limits, or loses your data, that is between you and that provider.
No account
Crosspace has no sign-in and no account. Nothing is registered with us, and the only credentials involved are the ones for the cloud storage accounts you choose to connect, which stay on your device.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the right to use the cloud accounts you connect, and to upload what you upload.
- Do not use Crosspace to break the terms of a cloud provider, or any applicable law.
- Keep your vault passphrase safe. A
.cpvaultfile plus its passphrase grants access to the accounts inside it — treat it like a master key. We cannot recover a lost passphrase, and there is no backdoor.
Crosspace Plus
Crosspace Plus is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase that does not renew. The price of each, in your local currency, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time after purchase; cancelling stops future renewals and the current paid period runs to its end. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions; we cannot issue them directly.
Availability
Crosspace depends on services run by other companies — Apple, your cloud providers, and the purchase service named in the Privacy Policy. Those services can change or become unavailable, and features that rely on them may stop working as a result.
No warranty
Crosspace is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wael Makhoul is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Crosspace.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
